seasoned boater, members and nonmembers receive a certificate of completion and USPS
Seminar Series credit. Nonmembers are welcome.
Learn to handle your boat with skill and confidence.
•        How to handle seas
•        Close-quarters maneuvering
•        Docking your power- or sailboat under any combination of wind and current
•        Using drive trim and trim tabs to match speed and sea state
•        Outboards, stern drives, single- and twin-engine inboards
Boat Handling under Power is one of the USPS University Seminars for credit toward Boat
Operator Certification. It is presented by CCSPS and co-sponsored by Matthew Carrick who is
the president of Freedom Boat Club of West Dennis.
